1. Sign in to Windows as an administrator.
2. Click
(Start) -
3. Click [Accounts] - [Sign-in options].
4. Select [Every Time] under "Require sign-in".

Ignition Mode

You can turn on the computer by connecting the AC adaptor.
1. Click
(Start) -
2. Click [Restart now] under "Advanced startup".
3. Click [Troubleshoot] - [Advanced options] - [UEFI Firmware Settings] - [Restart].
The computer restarts, and the Setup Utility screen appears.
4. Set [Power On AC] to [Enabled] in the [Main] menu.
5. Press ≪ F10≫ , select [Yes], and press ≪ Enter≫ .
Modern Standby
The sleep mode of this computer supports the modern standby mode. The modern standby mode enables emails or SNS applications to be received by
connecting to the wireless LAN periodically even in the sleep state. Also, resume performance in modern standby mode is faster. Accordingly, more
power is consumed in modern standby mode than in the conventional sleep function. When the computer is driven by the battery, it is recommended to
switch the network connection as necessary.
Setting the modern standby mode in battery-driven state
1. Click
(Start) -
2. Select the item under "Network connection".
Selecting [Never] enables network connection even in the sleep state (battery-driven state).
Selecting [Always] disables network connection in the sleep state (battery-driven state).
N O T E
To connect to the network in the sleep state, the application you are using needs to support the modern standby mode.

Check with the application provider whether or not the application supports the modern standby mode.
When resuming from modern standby (sleep), press the power switch.
