Using Power2Go

For further information, refer to the software's online manual (below).

(Start) - [CyberLink Power2Go x.x for Panasonic]

If you format a disc using Windows functions, you cannot write with Power2Go.

Do not format a disc using Windows functions when you write to the disc using Power2Go. For rewritable discs (i.e. CD-RW, etc.), writ-
ing is possible using Power2Go if all the disc contents are deleted.
If you set an unused disc in the optical disc drive, [AutoPlay] screen may appear and then Windows format screen may be displayed.

Do not format the disc when you use Power2Go.
When you write to the disc using Power2Go, start Power2Go before setting the disc. Windows format screen will not be displayed,
which prevents the disc from being mistakenly formatted.

Using DVD-RAM
Formatting must be executed to write a file to a DVD-RAM. It is possible to write a file to a formatted DVD-RAM in the same way as writing a file to a flash
memory.
Format type
There are following types of DVD-RAM formats, as shown below. We recommend that you choose the format type depending on the application.
Format
FAT32
This format is supported by Windows 95 (OSR2) / 98 / Me / 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 / 8.1 / 10. DVD-RAM discs in FAT32 format cannot be
used on Windows 95 (other than OSR2) / Windows NT.
UDF1.02
This format is supported by Windows 98 / Me / 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 / 8.1 / 10, and compatible with the Video mode of DVD-ROM /
DVD-R / DVD-RW / +R / +RW.
UDF1.50
Standard format for DVD-RAM. Data with large file sizes (video or audio data) can be written at high speed. We recommend this
format when using DVD-RAM for storing data.
UDF2.00/2.01
This format is used for DVD video recorders conforming to "Video Recording Standards" as established by the DVD Forum, or for
PC recording software conforming to the same standards.
UDF2.5
This format is supported by Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10, and is used for Blu-ray recorders or PC recording software conforming to "Video
Recording Standards" as established by the Blu-ray Disc Association.
This format cannot be used for DVD recorders conforming to "Video Recording Standards" as established by the DVD Forum, or for
PC recording software conforming to the same standards.
There are following types of BD-R/BD-RE formats, as shown below.
Format
UDF2.5
Standard format for BD-RE discs as established by the Blu-ray Disc Association is sup-
ported by the Windows Vista / 7 / 8.1 / 10. This format is used for Blu-ray recorders or PC
recording software conforming to "Video Recording Standards" as established by the
Blu-ray Disc Association.
DVD-RAM discs in UDF2.5 format cannot be used for DVD recorders conforming to
"Video Recording Standards" as established by the DVD Forum, or for PC recording soft-
ware conforming to the same standards.
