Installing a hot-plug memory board

– Slide the new memory board down into the lateral grooves until it locks into
place.

– Press the green handle (4) until the locking lever (5) engages.
– Press the white hot-plug standby button (2) to integrate the new memory
board into the system.
The standby LED (1) flashes. The integration process is running.
– Wait until the standby LED (1) stops flashing and the power supply LED (3)
lights up green.
The new memory board is now integrated into the system.

If the power supply LED (3) does not light up green, the new memory
board has been rejected by the system, for example, because it does
not match the current configuration in terms of size.
– Close the housing cover again (see
page 100).
