Configure and view events and logs
You can configure and view events and log messages for a Connect IT.
View events information
In the Events page in the local web user interface, you can view detailed information about events
that have occurred. The type of event, level of activity, and a description is displayed.

Log in to the Connect IT local web user
2. Click Events in the left pane.

Configure log messages
You can configure the log messages for the Connect IT.
1.
Log in
to manage the Connect IT.

Access the Configuration > System
3. Expand the Log section.
4. In the Heartbeat interval field, enter the minimum time interval between sending heartbeat
status events. These events are only sent if no other events have been sent for this interval. If
this field is blank, heartbeat events are disabled.
5. Configure log messages for individual event categories.
a. Expand the Event categories section.
b. For each category that you want to configure, expand the section and complete the
