10 Grid Dispatching

10.1 Function Description

The Logger3000 includes a power control module inside used to receive control
instruction from the grid dispatching center and send the control instruction to the
monitored inverters through the RS485 port, thereby controlling the output active power,
reactive power, power factor, and start or stop of the inverter.

10.2 Grid Dispatching Plans

The grid dispatching plans include direct-connection networking and cascading
networking.

In the direction-connection mode, all inverters of the current power plant are connected
to one Logger3000. In this mode, the Logger3000 has the following two functions:
EMU (energy management) function
The Logger3000 can compare data of the gateway meter with the real-time power
of the inverter, thereby dynamically adjusting the active power or reactive power of
the inverter. For more information. refer to
Data upload function
The Logger3000 can upload the running data of the inverter in the PV system to
iSolarCloud.
