9.8.1 Searching Device

The function is used to search for devices equipped with searching function, such as
string inverter, and allocate address to them.
Devices can be searched for in the following two manners:
Searching by Port

Searching by Address
•
9.8.1.1 Searching by Port
step 1 Click "Management" -＞ "Search device" to enter the corresponding interface.
step 2 Click "Search by port", select a serial port name, enter the device number, and click
"Search".
step 3 Click "Save" after the searching operation ends.

9.8.1.2 Searching by Address
step 1 Click "Management" -＞ "Search device" to enter the corresponding interface.
step 2 Click "Search by addr.", select a serial port name, enter the start address and end
address, and click "Search".
step 3 Click "Save" after the searching operation ends.
Corresponding device information can be viewed after the searching operation ends.

There should be no repeated addresses. Otherwise, the searching shall fail.
