7 Electrical Connection
The built-in PLC module of the Logger3000 supports AC voltage less than 800V.
In case of PLC communication, the distance between the Logger3000 and the
inverter should be no more than 1,000m.
PLC networking is intended for medium voltage grid-connection. If low voltage
grid-connection is desired, observe the following two conditions:
Never connect a load between the Logger3000 and the PLC slave node.
•
The distance between the Logger3000 and the load should be greater than
•
20m, that is, the LV grid-connection point should be more than 20m away
from the nearest load distribution line. The load includes air conditioners,
machines, motors, etc.
In case of PLC communication, note that:
Electrical connection between the inverter and its downstream transformer
•
has been correctly performed.
Input and output circuit breakers of the Logger, inverter, and transformer are
•
connected.
7.7 Connecting to the AC Power Supply
The Logger3000 can be connected to a power source with voltage ranging from 110 to
277Vac.
step 1 Lead the external power supply cable to the wiring area of the Logger3000.
step 2 Strip the power supply cable by an appropriate length and crimp it to an euro style
terminal.
step 3 Insert the euro style terminal to the external jack "AC110~277V" of the Logger3000.
