Glossary
The CL-AC1, CL-DC1 and CL-DC2 devices are provided with
the two (CL-LSR/CL-LST) or four (CL-LMR/CL-LMT) analog
inputs I7, I8 and I11, I12. The input voltages are between
0 V and 10 V. The measuring data is evaluated with the
integrated function relays.
As in conventional wiring, the circuit diagram is made up of
circuit elements. These include input, output and marker
relays, plus function relays and P buttons.
Connect mode is used to wire up the circuit elements in your
CL circuit diagram.
The contact behaviour of any circuit element can be defined
as either a n/c contact or a n/o contact. n/c contact elements
are identified by a line above the identifier (Exception: jump).
I/O expansion with the expansion device (e.g. CL-LET.20DC2)
is installed up to 30 m away from the basic unit. The
CL-LEC.CI000 coupler is fitted centrally on the basic unit. A
two-wire cable is used to exchange the input and output data
between the expansion device and the basic unit.
Entry mode is used to input or modify values when creating
circuit diagrams or setting parameters, for example.
