Installing an M.2 card

The system has one M.2 type 2280 socket (M Key), which provides PCIe NVMe x4 interface that
supports the installation of an M.2 22 x 80mm SSD card. Please note that you need to remove the
CPU heatsink.

To install an M.2 card:
1.
Align the notch at the edge of the M.2 card with the key in the connector and insert the
bottom edge of the M.2 card into the connector.

Insert the bottom edge of the M.2 card into the connector and push down on the other end
of the card and use the provided mounting screw to secure the card on the system board.

Push down on the other end of the card and use the provided mounting screw to secure the
card on the system board.

Installing a SATA DOM

The system board is equipped with two SATA 3.0 ports that support the installation of SATA
DOMs that can be used as a boot drive, system backup and recovery device, etc.
These SATA ports provide power so external power supply is not needed (however, there is an
5V DC-out power connector next to SATA port 0 in case your SATA DOM requires an external
power connector). Align the SATA port with the connector of a SATA DOM before inserting the
SATA DOM.
