The Digital I/O connector provides 32-bit digital inputs or outputs to enable monitor and
control of the states of the connected external devices. The recommended application voltage
range is from 0 V to 24 V.
The digital I/O ports support Electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection to prevent damage from
ESD strikes between two connected devices. The following are detailed features:
Protects one data or I/O line
Max. peak pulse power: 160W at tp = 8/20 us.
Low clamping voltage
IEC 61000-4-2, level 4 (ESD), >±15KV (air); >±8KV (contact)
• Software
The system comes with a demonstration program and an API utility, allowing you to control
digital I/O pins. The GPIO Control API of the GamingLogic API allows you to control the digital
input/output pins. Please contact your sales representative for the gaming software package.
• Driver Installation
Install the Windows WinDriver. Please refer to Chapter 8 for more information.
