Recommended Action
Replace the fan module and report the
failure to customer support.
Check the system log for one of the
following messages and report the
error message to customer support:
CM ENV Monitor: Get fan speed
failed.
fan-number is NOT spinning @
correct speed, where fan-number
can be 1, 2, or 3.
Remove and check the fan module for
obstructions, and then reinsert the fan
module. If the problem persists,
replace the fan module.
Check the system log for the message
fan-number Absent, where fan-number
can be 1, 2, or 3.
Install the fan module.
Replace PSM and RMA
Check input power feeds
Install a redundant PSM and check the
input power feeds
