3.4.5 Conversion from back angle setting to back angle adjustment
If you want to convert the seat shell from an
angle setting (1) to and angle adjustment (2),
then proceed as follows:
•
(1) Remove the screws (A),
•
remove the lock element (B) and
•
remove the old angle setting element
(C).
•
(2) Place the gas spring (A) at the bot-
tom in the adapter (B) and lock it with
the lock element (C),
•
push the release lever (D) of the gas
spring (A) and adjust the length of the
piston rod (E) to where the connection
fits in the adapter (F),
•
replace the screws (G),
•
now let go of the release lever (D) and
tighten the screw (G).
3.4.6 Changing the basic setting of the push height
Ex works, the push bar is mounted in the lowest
setting.
(3) Here, the back pipes are shown transpar-
ent so that you can see the holes in the section
tube.
To change the height up to 10 cm higher:
•
Remove the star knob screws (A) on both
sides completely (including half shells),
•
push the push bar so far up until the two
holes (C) are visible guide slots (B) at
the bottom end of the section tube,
•
place the star knob screws (A) (including
half shells) in both of these holes (B) and
retighten them.
