SOLVING PROBLEMS

Problem
The coffee does not flow
from the group head.
Possible Reason
Machine is not live, not
turned on, or did not reach
operating temperature.
The water tank is empty.
The control dial is not turned
to the left coffee position.
The coffee powder is too
fine.

tamped too firmly.

The Solution
Ensure the machine is plugged in and the POWER button

Fill a sufficient amount of water into the water tank.
Avoid emptying the water tank below the 250ml MIN
marking.
Turn the control dial left to the stop.
Use coffee powder suited for espresso machines. See:
>Tips for Best Results<.
To press the coffee powder into the filter basket, apply a
pressure of 15-20kg via the provided tamper. See: >Tips
for Best Results< and >Trimming the Dose<.
Clean the filter basket. You may open clogged holes in the
filter mesh via a needle or fine pin. See: >Care and Clea-
ning<.
Push the water tank down at the back of the appliance
until the outer sides of the water tank lie in straight line
with the housing of the appliance.
