tion to purge the nozzle in the steam wand tip.
8. Turn the control dial back to standby position.
REMOVE OBSTACLES FROM THE NOZZLE OF THE STEAM WAND
NOTE:
Even a partially blocked nozzle may affect the ability of the steam wand to pro-
duce a sufficient froth volume when texturing milk.
9. Ensure that the control dial is in the central standby position, switch off (press the
POWER button), and unplug the appliance. Leave the appliance cool down.
10. Unscrew the steam wand tip. For this, you may put on the central hole of the steam
wand tool to the steam wand tip and then turn the steam wand tip by the steam
wand tool. (The steam wand tip is mounted via a right-hand thread as almost any
other threaded nut).
11. Soak the steam wand tip, using some warm dishwater. Thereafter try to remove the
obstacle in the nozzle via the pin of the steam wand tool again. Rinse the steam
wand tip thoroughly.
CAUTION:
Do not over tighten the steam wand tip, to avoid damage to the seal.
However, for operation, there may be no gab between the steam wand tip and steam
wand pipe.
12. Screw the steam wand tip back onto the steam wand pipe by hand.
Tip:
When not in use, the steam wand may be left immersed in the milk jug filled with
clear water to reduce the risk of blockages.
CLEANING THE FILTER BASKET, PORTAFILTER, AND GROUP HEAD
1. Periodically run water through the machine with the portafilter and filter basket in
