7. Shutdown and disposal
7.1

Temporary shutdown

The described product can be temporarily shut
down by disconnecting the electrical, pneu-
matic, and/or hydraulic supply connections.
The instructions in the "Assembly" chapter in
these assembly instructions must be observed
when doing so.
If the product is to be shut down for an ex-
tended period of time, follow the instructions
in the Chapter "Transport, delivery, and stor-
age" of these assembly instructions.
To recommission the product, follow the in-
structions in the "Assembly instructions" and
"Commissioning" chapters in these assembly
instructions.
7.2

Permanent shutdown

If the product will be permanently shut down,
the local regulations and laws regarding the
disposal of contaminated equipment must be
observed.
Note!
Lubricants can contaminate soil and
waterways. Lubricants must be used
and disposed of properly. Observe the
local regulations and laws regarding the
disposal of lubricants.
The product can also be returned to
SKF Lubrication Systems Germany
GmbH for disposal, in which case the
customer is responsible for reimbursing
the costs incurred.
The parts are recyclable.
