Key
for fast stage lifting
− When this key is activated, the stage is moved back to the focus position last stored.
In the case of different specimen slide thickness, there is a risk of the specimen and/or the
objective being damaged during fast stage lifting. The procedure can then be stopped
immediately by pressing the
On / Off key for transmitted light
− When this key is activated, the transmitted light is switched on or off.
Transmitted light is always available when the microscope is switched on.
Set key
− Stores illumination and condenser settings and is used for programming.

(fast stage lowering) key.
Binocular ergotube 6-25°/23
The binocular ergotube 6-25°/23 allows the
viewing angle to be changed continuously in the
range between 6° and 25° by swivelling the
binocular component.
− To set the most convenient viewing angle,
swivel
upwards or downwards.
− The viewing height can be changed by turning
the entire binocular component around 360°
(3-11).
− The interpupillary distance can be changed by
separate adjustment of the two eyepiece tubes.
