Changing the AM tuning scale
(Models of area code U2, CA2 only)
You can change the AM tuning scale to either
9 kHz or 10 kHz on the receiver.

Press ?/1 to turn off the
receiver.

While holding down DISPLAY,
press ?/1 on the receiver.

Change the current AM tuning
scale to 9 kHz (or 10 kHz).
To reset the scale to 10 kHz (or 9 kHz),
repeat the procedure above.
Note
All preset stations will be erased when you change
the tuning scale.

Presetting FM/AM radio
stations (Preset Tuning)
You can preset up to 30 FM and 30 AM
stations. Then you can easily tune in the
stations you often listen to.

Press GUI MODE.
After "MENU ON" appears on the
display for a while, "GUI" appears and
the GUI menu appears on the TV screen.
Press MENU if the GUI menu does not
appear on the TV screen.

Press V/v repeatedly to select
"FM" or "AM", then press
b.
The FM or AM menu list appears on the
TV screen.

Tune in the station that you
want to preset using Auto
Tuning (page 54) or Direct
Tuning (page 54).
In case of poor FM stereo reception,
switch the FM reception mode (page 54).

Press TOOLS/OPTIONS.
The option menu appears.

Press V/v repeatedly to select
"Memory", then press
