Boot loader-Update
The system may under no circumstances be switched off during the boot loader
update.
If the update cannot be completed, do not restart the system.
To replace the boot loader the system must then be send to the manufacturer.
A boot loader update is performed as follows:
The Boot loader version will be shown in the start screen down right, during the
Bluhm/Weber logo run through the screen.
1.
Switch on the system and keep the iLOGIK button pressed when the start logo
(Bluhm/Weber, Markoprint X4JET) appears.
2.
The following then appears on the screen:
Prg: 0 PV1.0xx current program version
GA.: 0GV0.032 current gate array version
Stick?
3.
Insert the USB stick with the new version.
The following then appears on the display:
Prg: 57 PV1.0xx current program versions
GA.: 14 GV0.032 current gate array versions
Start?
4.
By briefly pressing the iLOGIK button the new boot loader version is copied to the internal
memory.
5.
The green power LED lights up during the copying process.
6.
Wait until the end of the copying process, with the power LED lit up and the sensor LED
displayed in green!
If this process is prematurely interrupted the system will no longer start!
The system must be send to the manufacturer.
7.
Restart the system by switching off the voltage and switching on again.
