Internal Pulse / Encoder

The print speed must relate to the conveyor speed. If the conveyor speed is constant,
the print speed can adjust fix, otherwise a shaft encoder should be used, which measure
the conveyor speed and adapt the print speed continuous.
The Markoprint X4JET has two channels, which enable the connecting two encoders to
the control unit. I.e. there are two independently operating signals available to align the
print speed. One channel is for the print head modules 1 and 2 are available and the
other channel for the print head modules 3 and 4.
By this procedure it is possible to print with head modules 1 and 2 on a production line
and with print modules 3 and 4 on another production line with a different speed.
To adjust the parameter of the print speed,
1.
Touch the iLOGIK once in one of the status menus.
 The Label submenu is displayed.
2.
Call the System submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and select by pressing.
 The System submenu is displayed.
3.
Call the Internal pulse/Encoder submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and select it by
pressing.
4.
Adjust the value to internal (by constant running conveyor) or to encoder (by non-constant
running conveyor)by rotating the iLOGIK and accept by pressing.
If the parameter Internal pulse is selected, the conveyor speed must be detected
and entered at the system.
Make the input of the measured conveyor speed as follows,
1.
Touch the iLOGIK once in one of the status menus.
The Label submenu is displayed.
2.
Call the Speed submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and select by pressing

Adjust the measured value by rotating the iLOGIK and accept by touching.
