Installing the Engine

The engine assembly weighs approximately 42 kg (92 lb). Use an
appropriate lift to remove the engine assembly.
12. Remove the 4 fasteners securing the engine to the engine frame and lift
the engine from the machine.
13. Continue to disassemble the engine as necessary.
Refer to Figure 15 for this procedure.
Ensure that all parts removed from the engine during maintenance
are installed.
1. If the engine pulley was removed:
A. Install the square key and position the pulley 28 mm (1.1 inch) from
the engine.
Note: New set screws have a thread locking compound pre-applied. If
installing used set screws, apply a high temperature medium strength
thread locking compound (Loctite 246 or equivalent) prior to installation.
B. Install the pulley set screws and tighten from 14 to 18 N∙m (120 to 140
in-lb).
