Checking the Fuel Lines and Connections

5. Fill the fuel tank with fuel and open the fuel shut-off valve.
6. Connect the 48V battery disconnect.
7. Start the engine and check the fuel system for leaks. Repair any leaks as
necessary before returning the machine to service.

Check the fuel lines and connections at the scheduled maintenance intervals
recommended in the Traction Unit Operator's Manual. Check the lines for
deterioration, damage, leaks, or loose connections. Replace the hoses, clamps,
and fittings as necessary.
