1 VOLUME keys
Press to adjust the listening volume.
2 4, ¢ keys
During CD, CDR playback:
Press to skip CD, CD-R/RW tracks
During TAPE playback:
Press to fast forward or fast reverse the tape.
During tuner reception:
Press to select a radio station.
3 7 (stop) key
When power is OFF (standby) :
Press to display the time of the day for 5 seconds.
During CD, CDR,TAPE playback :
Press to stop playback.
During CDR,TAPE recording :
Press to stop recording.
During tuner reception :
Press to stop auto tuning.
4 CD-R 6 key
When power is ON:
Press to select the CDR input.
When power is OFF (standby):
Press to turn the system power ON and start play-
back on the CD recorder.
When CDR input is selected:
Press to start playback or let it pause.
5 TAPE 23 key
When power is ON:
Press to select the TAPE input.
When power is OFF (standby):
Press to turn the system power ON and start TAPE
playback.
When TAPE input is selected:
Press during playback to change the tape transport
direction.
6 CD 6 key
When power is ON:
Press to select the CD input.
When power is OFF (standby):
Press to turn the system power ON and start play-
back on the CD player.
When CD input is selected:
Press to start playback or let it pause.
7 TUNER/BAND key
When power is ON:
Press to select the TUNER input.
When power is OFF (standby):
Press to turn the system power ON and start radio
reception on the tuner.
During tuner reception :
Press to switch the radio band.
8 CD player cover open key (0)
Press to open a CD player cover.
9 CD player cover
