Marking the location of the rail-fixing cage nuts

About this task
This procedure explains how to mark the location of the cage nuts serving to secure the rails to the
rack by means of screws.
Procedure
1. Read the mounting prerequisites, which contain important positioning and spacing
information..
2. Prepare masking tape or a felt-tip pen to mark the location of the cage nuts. If the holes on
the rack are marked with numbers, write down the numbers on a piece of paper.
3. Mark the location of the bottom cage nut on each post, starting with the left one. Place the
mark on the outer side of the post.
The mark must be beside the lower square hole from a pair of squares on the post.
Important:
CAUTION - The markings on the left and right posts must be at exactly the same height
to ensure the MCU is positioned horizontally in the rack.
Important:
As the top cage nuts are located right above the bottom cage nuts, there is no need to
mark their location.

must be aligned with the rail's top cage nut.
2. Count 4 square holes up. At the 4th hole mark the location of the upper MCU-fixing cage nut.
