Installing Queue Warning Indicator

Requirements
Figure 2-97 shows the connections for the queue warning indicator. An ac indicator (lamp)
such as a 21C49 is optional for use as a queue warning indication in a Uniform Call
Distribution/Direct Departmental Calling queue. The lamp is connected to an information
outlet. The switch side of the cross-connect field is connected to a TN742 or TN769 Analog
Line circuit pack located in a port carrier. The TN742 or TN769 circuit pack contains a
maximum of eight ports.
Installation
1 .
Determine port assignment for queue warning lamp from Hunt Group Form:
Install patch cord at cross-connect field.
2 .
Mount lamp at specified location.
3 .
4 .
Connect 2-pair line cord (modular plug at one end) from information outlet to lamp
(see Figure 2-97).
5 .
Connect red (R) and green (T) leads to lamp.
6 .
Administer per AT&T System 75 and System 75 XE Implementation and A T & T
System 75 and System 75 XE Administration.
