Note
The Clipboard only contains the last text to be copied or deleted. If you want
to paste a text block several times, you should not delete or copy any other
text into the Clipboard between the paste operations.
To move a section of text, the procedure is similar to copying, except that the
text is deleted from the original position:
• Select the section of text to be moved..
• Select Delete from the Edit menu. The marked text block is transferred to
the Clipboard. The start and end mark of the block are cleared.
• Position the cursor at the point where you want to insert the text.
• Use the Paste command in the Edit menu to insert the section of text from
the Clipboard to the chosen position.
You can delete sections of text as follows:
• Select the section of text to be deleted.
• Select Delete from the Edit menu. The marked text block is transferred to
the Clipboard.
The automatic find is an invaluable aid when working with longer files. You
can search for individual characters, words, sentences or complete sections of
text:
• Select Find from the Find menu. The "Find" dialog box appears.

• Enter the search key in the edit box.
• Select the "Find Next" button to start the search. WEdit selects the first
term matching the text entered in the Find dialog box.
• Select the "Find Next" button to continue the search for the next match.
You can switch between the individual input boxes in the dialog box using the
EDIT key. Alternatively, you can press the underlined letter (HOTKEY), when
the cursor is outside the text boxes, to jump to the desired input box. You can
select individual check boxes using the SPACE key.
