WINDSHIELD AND WINDOWS
Close
window vent.
DURING FLYABLE STORAGE
In
a favorable atmospheric
environment
the engine
of
an
aircraft that
is
flown
intermittently
can
be
adequately
pro-
tected from corrosion
by
turning
the engine over five
revolutions
by
means of the
propeller.
This will dispel
any
beads
of
moisture
that
may
have
accummulated
and
spread
the
residual
lubricating
oil
around the cylinder
walls.
Unless the aircraft
is
flown, repeat this
procedure
every five
days.
