such
that
even
short
encounters
become
potentially
hazardous
and
use
of
deicinglanti-icing
equipment
or
diversion
is necessary.
Severe
The rate
of
accumulation
is such
that
deicinglanti-icing
equipment
fails
to
reduce
or
control
the
hazard.
Immediate diversion is
necessary.
It is
no
longer
unusual
to find deicing
and anti-icing
equipment
on
a wide
range
of
airplane
sizes
and
