your airplane,

fly
with a qualified
instructor
until
you are current/proficient.
Pre-plan all aspects of
your
flight

including
weather
and adequate
fuel
reserves.
Use
services
available
-
Weather
briefing,
in-flight
weather
and Flight Service Station.
Carefully
pre-flight
your
airplane.
