Gas Connection

NOTE – Gas quality:
The supplied CO
lowing properties:
Minimum purity: 99.5 %;
Medical gas quality.
CAUTION - Overpressure:
The maximum pressure of the CO
lied to the unit may not exceed 1 bar.
If gas is supplied at a higher pressure, the-
re is a risk that the valves in the unit inte-
rior will not close properly resulting in
improper regulation of the gas supply.
Adjust the gas supply pressure in a range
between a minimum of 0.8 bar and a ma-
ximum of 1.0 bar and make sure this pres-
sure cannot be altered!
The gas supply is connected to the gas connection
piece on the sterile filter, using the included, flexible
gas pressure hose which is secured by a hose clamp.
1. Push the gas pressure tube [1] onto the gas
supply connection piece.
2. Remove the protective cap [3] on the sterile filter.
3. Push the hose clamp [2] onto the gas pressure
hose [1] and push the hose onto the connecting
piece [4] on the sterile filter.
4. Secure the gas pressure hose to the connecting
piece with the hose clamp.
5. If the access port is not being used, make sure it
is sealed with its plug.
