Troubleshooting
Step
1
1) With the ignition switch "OFF", disconnect the Cylinder
Temp. Sensor connector.
2) With the ignition switch "ON", check the voltage at the
"Lg/W" wire terminal of the Cylinder Temp. Sensor
connector.
Is the voltage 4 V or more?

1) Check the Cylinder Temp. Sensor.
Refer to "Cylinder Temp. Sensor Inspection" in Section
1C (Page 1C-8).
Is it in good condition?

Go to step 2.
Poor Cylinder Temp.
Sensor connection,
intermittent trouble or a
faulty ECM may be the
cause.
