Program Memory

The program memory stores command strings temporarily. The stored program can
be executed by using the front panel keys, or automatically when B2900 is turned
on. See
"Program key group" on page 4-44

The program memory can eliminate several processes in the program execution,
such as transferring commands, checking command syntax, and converting
commands to the internal codes. Thus, using the program memory speeds up
program execution. If frequently used command strings are stored in the program
memory, interface/computer activity is minimized.
The program memory can be defined by using SCPI commands while B2900 is in
the remote mode. See Keysight B2900 series SCPI Command Reference.
