In dual reference mode where "Rear Panel" is selected as one of the external
reference inputs, a TTL reference signal (3.0 kHz or lower) should be applied to this
connector. Naturally this precludes using the same input for ADC triggering at the
same time.

4.2.10 TRIG OUT Connector

This connector can be set to generate a TTL-compatible output pulse, for example to
indicate when data is being sampled when using the internal curve buffer. It can also
be switched to perform an alternative function as a Reference Monitor, in which case
it outputs a TTL signal at the same frequency as the main reference channel.
4.2.11 ADC 1, ADC 2, ADC 3, and ADC 4 Connectors
The input voltages at these connectors are sampled and held when the ADC is
triggered, and are then digitized. Several different trigger modes are available. The
input voltage range is ±10.000 V and the resolution is 1 mV.

4.2.12 DAC 1, DAC 2, DAC 3, and DAC 4 Connectors

There are four digital-to-analog converter (DAC) output connectors. The output
voltages at these connectors can be configured to represent instrument outputs (e.g.
X and Y channel outputs) or be used as general purpose programmable voltages.
When used as instrument outputs the full-scale output range is ±2.500 V, with the
ability to operate linearly at up to three times this range. When used as general-
purpose outputs, the output range is ±10.000 V
