This is a simple utility for a PC which searches for any model 7230's on the
network. It can be downloaded from the www.signalrecovery.com website.
When run, it displays the dialog shown in figure 5-12 below

Click the Find Instruments button. If any model 7230's are found on the network,
the Instrument field will be updated, as shown in Figure 5-13.

If there are several instruments then the up/down buttons allow you to scroll
through them until the required unit is found. The Instrument field displays the
stored instrument name (see command NAME in section 6.7.12) that can be used
in addition to the serial number to aid identification. In the case of figure 5-13,
the name is "Optical Lab".
Click the IP address hyperlink to access the model 7230. This will open your
default browser and display the model 7230's Main Controls page. If you check
the "Close program..." box then the SRInstFinder utility will also be closed
automatically.
