IE [n]
IE1 [n]
IE2 [n]
IMODE [n]
IPADDR [n1 n2 n3 n4]
E-14
Reference channel source control (Internal/External)
In Single Reference and Dual Harmonic mode, the value of n sets the reference input
mode according to the following table:
n
Selection
0
INT (internal)
1
EXT TTL (external front panel REF input)
2
EXT ANALOG (external front panel REF input)
This command is invalid in Dual Reference mode
Reference channel 1 source control, Dual Reference
In Dual Reference mode, the value of n sets the reference channel 1 source according
to the following table:
n
Selection
0
INT (internal)
1
EXT TTL (external front panel REF input, except if IE2 = 2, when the reference
should be applied to the rear panel TRIG IN input, and be no greater than
3.0 kHz)
2
EXT ANALOG (external front panel REF input)
This command is only valid in Dual Reference mode.
Reference channel 2 source control, Dual Reference
In Dual Reference mode, the value of n sets the reference channel 2 source according
to the following table:
n
Selection
0
INT (internal)
1
EXT TTL (external front panel REF input except if IE1 = 2, when the reference
should be applied to the rear panel TRIG IN input, and be no greater than
3.0 kHz)
2
EXT ANALOG (external front panel REF input)
This command is only valid in Dual Reference mode
Current/Voltage mode input selector
The value of n sets the input mode according to the following table
n
Input mode
0
Current mode off - voltage mode input enabled
1
High bandwidth current mode enabled - connect signal to B (I) input connector
2
Low noise current mode enabled - connect signal to B (I) input connector
If n = 0 then the input configuration is determined by the VMODE command.
If n > 0 then current mode is enabled irrespective of the VMODE setting.
Ethernet IP Address
When this command is sent without parameters, the instrument responds with the
current IP address e.g. 169.254.0.10
