Model C835 and C845 Gas Zones Only
PROBLEM
The heater is not heating or is
heating too slowly. The display
reads "CALL FOR SERVICE - NO
HEAT IN ZONE XX." (Zone ID)
This error message displays when
there is a call for heat but no
temperature rise in 4 minutes.
The display reads "BLOWER
FAILURE".
The burner will not light. The
display reads "IGNITION
FAILURE".
The burner lights but will not
remain lit.

Troubleshooting
PROBABLE CAUSE
Upper Platen: The power cord is
loose or partially unplugged at the
wall receptacle.
Lower plate: The combustion ratio
of the burner is out of adjustment.
The blower is faulty.
The IDC or the relay is faulty.
The pressure switch is faulty.
The quick disconnect gas hose is
not fully engaged.
The manual shutoff valve is in the
OFF position.
The gas regulator is adjusted
incorrectly.
Air is in the gas hose.
The air adjustment is incorrect.
The processor control is faulty.
The Ignition Detection Control
(IDC) is faulty.
The pressure switch is faulty.
The flue restrictors are open too
wide.
The gas solenoid is faulty.
The electrode is faulty.
The interface board is faulty.
The electrode is faulty.
The gas/air ratio is incorrect.
Improper ground.
The IDC is faulty.
The flue restrictors are open too
wide.
L1 and Neutral are reversed on the
control power.
The pressure switch is faulty.

REMEDY
Check the plug receptacle and
reset the connection.
Measure the CO/CO2 with the
combustion meter and adjust per
combustion meter instructions.
Replace the blower.
Replace the IDC or the relay.
Replace the switch.
Re‐engage the quick disconnect.
Turn it to the ON position.
Correct the gas pressure.
Wait 5 minutes before relighting.
Adjust the air flow.
Replace the control.
Replace the control.
Replace the pressure switch.
The flue restrictors should be open
only 1/2" ‐ 3/4" (13 ‐ 19 mm).
Replace the solenoid.
Replace the electrode.
Replace the interface board.
Replace the electrode. Clean and
adjust.
Readjust the air shutter.
Check ground connections.
Replace the IDC.
The flue restrictors should be open
only 1/2" ‐ 3/4" (13 ‐ 19 mm).
Reverse the L1 and Neutral.
Replace the pressure switch.
