PROBLEM
The display reads "TOO COOL"
(Zone ID) and will not allow a cook
cycle to start.
This error message displays when
a zone drops 39 degrees below set
point.
The exhaust hood and grill will not
turn on when fan interlock switch is
placed in the ON position.
The exhaust hood alone does not
turn on when the fan interlock
switch is in the ON position.
The grill alone will not turn on
when the fan interlock switch is in
the ON position.
The upper platen will not stay in
the COOK or STANDBY position.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Loose frozen product (e.g., onions,
shrimp) is being piled on top of the
thermocouples. This can drop the
plate temperature around the
thermocouple, causing a fault.
Frozen whole muscle product
(chicken breast) may cause this
fault if too many are placed on the
grill or directly over the
thermocouples.
The restaurant circuit breaker has
been tripped.
The fan disconnect switch on the
roof is in the OFF position.
The fan interlock cord is not
connected properly.
The fan interlock switch is faulty.
The fan interlock switch is faulty.
Loose or broken wires.
The fuse in the control box is
faulty.
The fan interlock switch is faulty.
The ansul reset tripped.
The processor control is faulty.
The control harness is faulty.
Temperature is insufficient to
satisfy the indicator LED's.
The interface board is faulty.
The latch switch is faulty.
The latch solenoid is faulty.
The pneumatic system is faulty.

REMEDY
Inspect operation and inform the
operator to spread the product to a
uniform thickness. Avoid laying
product directly over the center of
the cook zone (where the
thermocouples are positioned).
Inspect operation and inform the
operator to reduce the number of
products being laid. Show the
operator how to properly place
product, avoiding placement of
product directly over the
thermocouples.
Reset the circuit breaker.
Place the switch in the ON
position.
Reconnect the cord.
Replace the fan interlock switch.
Replace the fan interlock switch.
Locate, repair or replace wires.
Replace the fuse.
Replace the switch.
Press the ansul reset button.
Replace the processor control.
Replace the control harness.
Wait until the indicator LED's turn
green.
Replace the interface board.
Replace the latch switch.
Replace the latch solenoid.
Find the leak and repair.
