Symptom
Nothing is displayed when the power is turned ON.
The data is not correct.

If the instrument does not operate properly even if the actions given in the table
below are performed, or if Service required is stated as a corrective action, or if
there are any other problems, contact YOKOGAWA or your YOKOGAWA sales
representative.
Cause
Received command not used by this instrument.
Parameter value specified is outside allowed range. Correct the value.
Attempted to execute a command not allowed
during auto store or while in recall mode.
Attempted to execute a command not allowed in the
instrument's current mode.
Attempted to execute a command not allowed when
the DMM function is OFF.

• When using an absolute pressure model
(767357/767367/767387), the value differs from
the factory default by more than 1 kPa.
Attempted to execute commands related to the D/A
output and comparator output function when the /DA
option was not installed.

What to Check
• Is the LINE switch turned ON?
• Is the fuse blown out?
• Was the power supply cut?
• Are the ambient temperature and humidity within the
acceptable range?
• Is the unused input port covered?
• Is the REMOTE indicator LED in the left of the corner
OFF?
• Is keylock turned ON?
• Does the GP-IB address specified in the program
match the address set up in the instrument?
• Does the interface meet the IEEE Standard 488-1978
electrical and mechanical requirements?
• Is the GP-IB communication turned ON?
match those of the controller?
Corrective Action
Check for error in the command
sent.
Make sure that the instrument is
not in auto store or recall mode.
Check for error in the command or
key operation.
Check that the DMM function is
OFF.
Check whether the reference
value (0 kPa) was correctly input.
Install the /DA option.
Input the correct values for the
three calibration points.
Check the connections and
procedures then try the calibration
again.
Service required.
