5 Configure the instrument's IP settings to match the LAN settings by
doing one of the following:
– If you specified IPv4 as your network mode, specify the following

Establishing network connections
Enter the instrument's IP address
(which will be used when accessing
the provider network).
Enter the netmask address to
indicate whether the packets are to
be routed to other networks or sub-
networks.
Enter the address for the gateway
that is used to route packets that are
not on the same subnet.
Enter the address of the DNS server.
