Network and WiFi Setup [Advanced System Configuration]
From the Network and WiFi Setup screen you can set up Ethernet settings
using DHCP (default on) or a static IP Address to connect to your network. The
IntelliCenter™ Control System Client Bridge Wireless Antenna provides a wireless
connection to your home wireless router using an Ethernet (LAN Cat5) cable
connected to the main circuit board on the Outdoor Control Panel.
Note: See page 47 for Pentair User Portal > Enable Web & Mobile Interface (ON)
to enable the PC Web App and Mobile Interfaces to allow local network and Internet
communications.
Connect Ethernet: Displays the current
IP Address.
Connect Wireless Network: Discover
nearby wireless networks.
Adjust Wireless Transmit Power:
Auto (Default). Choose the wireless
transmit power from 1 to 26 dBm). Use a
higher dBm value to transmit the wireless signal over a longer distance.
Internet Connection Test: Test the Internet connection after the wireless home
wireless connection has been setup. If connected to the Internet, the average
response time is displayed.
Configure Ethernet Settings (DHCP or
static IP Address).
Use DHCP (ON Default): The IP address
is obtained automatically and is
displayed.
OFF: IP address is entered by the user.
IP address: Your intelliCenter IP
Address (example; 192.168.1.9),
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: The Default Gateway is
obtained automatically (DHCP) or entered by the user (Static).
Primary DNS: Populated (DNS). Server should be provided by your ISP.
Secondary DNS: Populated (DNS). Only one DNS server should be configured
as primary for a zone, but you can have any number of secondary servers for
redundancy. Both primary and secondary servers for a zone serve exactly the same
data to clients. Because of this you could easily simulate a secondary server on a
single computer with two IP addresses.
