Troubleshooting the Scopia Elite MCU
6. In the Info tab, click the IP address of the media server.
Equinox Management displays the management interface in a new window.
7. Select
> Restore factory defaults.
8. Make sure to read the alert message and then select Continue.
9. After the MCU reboots, start a test videoconference. If the issue improves or is solved,
review your configuration settings.
10. If the issue still exists, capture the endpoint video logs for Customer Support.

Elite 6000 MCU cannot connect when Equinox Management can be accessing using only
FQDN.
Cause
If Equinox Management, which is the SIP server, can be accessed using only FQDN, Scopia
Elite 6000 MCU cannot connect if the settings contain the IP address of the SIP server.
