Maintaining the Scopia Elite MCU
Before you begin
• Back up the current configuration.
• Ensure that Scopia
• Ensure that there are no active video conferences.
Procedure
1. Log in to Equinox Management.
2. Click Devices.
Restoring the previous version may take up to 15 minutes.
3. In the left pane, select Media Servers.
Equinox Management displays the list of Scopia
4. Select the checkbox next to the Scopia
5. Click Manage > Restore Previous Version.
Equinox Management displays a message asking for confirmation to disconnect all active
conferences and begin the restoration process.
6. Click Yes.
Result
Equinox Management displays Update Log window that shows the restoration process status.

Creating an automatic backup schedule

About this task
If you use an external database, such as Microsoft SQL, you must back up the database
separately.
Procedure
1. Log in to Equinox Management.
2. Click Settings.
3. On the left pane, click Maintenance > Backup.
Equinox Management displays the Backup window.
4. Select Enable Auto Backup.
5. Click Media Servers' Configuration Files.
6. Set the following automatic backup options:
• Frequency
• Start
