Mounting the Unit

1. Install the unit on or in the mounting surface, rack, or cabinet.
2. Fasten the unit to the mounting surface, rack, or cabinet. Use suitable fasteners.

Grounding

WARNING:
Do not attempt to turn on power until the chassis of the unit is tied to a local
earth ground through a copper grounding strap that is sized in accordance
with applicable requirements.

Connecting I/O and Auxiliary Connectors

DANGER:

sources of input power before working on this unit or anything connected to

Important
All digital and analog control cables must be shielded. Connect the cable
shields to the shield clamp on the unit as shown in the following figure.
