ACPI Function
This item allows you to enable/disable the Advanced Configuration and
Power Management (ACPI). The options available are Enabled, Disabled.

Power Management

This option allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving for
Doze, Standby, and Suspend modes. The table below describes each
power management mode:
Maximum power savings. Only Available for SL CPUs.
Max
Inactivity period is 1 minute in each mode.
Saving
User Define Sets each mode individually. Select time-out periods in
the PM Timers section, following.
Min Saving Minimum power savings. Inactivity period is 1 hour in
each mode (except the hard drive).
Disabled
Default value
PM Control by APM
If Advanced Power Management (APM) is installed on your system,
selecting Yes gives better power savings. The default value is "Yes" .
System BIOS will ignore APM when power managing the

System BIOS will wait for APM's prompt before it enters any
PM mode (i.e., DOZE, STANDBY or SUSPEND).

Note: If APM is installed or if there is a task running, even
when the timer has timed out, the APM will not prompt
