Example image for BLC setting
◦ HLC (Highlight Compensation): The camera dims the brightest areas of the
image to make them clearer. Adjust the HLC level between 1 and 100.

◦ WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): The camera compensates for changes in bright-
ness across the image to enhance the picture quality of both light and dark areas.
Adjust the WDR level between 1 and 100.

NOTE
Based on the network camera model, a DWDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range) option is avail-
able. DWDR manipulates individual pixels of an image to enhance dark areas.
◦ ASO — Adaptive Scene Optimization (For select network cameras only):
The camera automatically switches off/on the WDR function when it is in dark/
bright conditions, respectively.
• Auto Iris (auto iris cameras only): Select ON to enable auto iris or OFF to disable
auto iris. If your camera supports the auto iris feature and is installed outdoors, it is
recommended to set white balance as OUTDOOR.
