Configuring the IOM for Full Switch mode

In this section, the switch is set to Full Switch mode.
In Figure 30, Global Configuration mode is used to set the switch to Full Switch mode. Then the
configuration is saved and the switch is reloaded. Once the reload is complete, the IOM mode is
verified using the show system stack-unit 0 iom-mode command. Then, the management IP
address is assigned to allow VLT heartbeats as well as SSH/telnet access.
Note: Only the VLT-related portions of the configurations are shown.
