Verify the initial mode for the IOM
show system stack-unit 0
iom-mode
If the previous command returns
standalone, full switch, or
programmable-mux then follow the
next set of commands to set the IOM
to VLT mode.
Configure
stack-unit 0 iom-mode vlt
Configure the ICL or peer-link
interface Te0/9 of both IOMs.
Configure the management interface
IP address.
