14.1 Trace Information

After trace acquisition, user can add or update tested fiber information which
includes: Cable ID, Fiber ID, Fiber Type, Start Location, End Location and Operator.

14.2 Check and Edit Trace Information

Use can check and edit trace information in {Trace Info.} function window.
When newly tested trace is saved, the trace is saved with above information.
User can also edit saved trace information and save the trace with updated
information.
u After editing trace information of a saved trace, the updated trace file name
will show a star sign ("*") to indicate the change. If user closes the editing
window without saving, system will promote user to save.
u The update to trace information is only effective to current active trace in
Multi-trace display mode.
u Editing trace information does not affect measurement parameters and
result.
Edit and save trace information:
1. Click {Trace Info.} label in OTDR main interface.
