5.3.3 Relay-Betrieb – automatischer Start des
anderen Laufwerks
Am Ende eines Titels oder am Ende einer CD kann
automatisch das andere Laufwerk gestartet werden.
A Start des anderen Laufwerks am Ende eines Titels
1) Zuerst in beide Laufwerke eine CD einlegen.
Dann erst die Taste RELAY (4) betätigen. Die
LED über der Taste blinkt.
2) Beide Laufwerke mit der Taste CONT./SINGLE
(6) auf Einzeltitelwiedergabe schalten – „AUTO
CUE SINGLE" (f) muss in beiden Displays ange-
zeigt werden.
3) Die Wiedergabe auf einem Laufwerk mit der
Taste
(26) starten. Das andere Laufwerk
muss auf Pause geschaltet sein (Anzeige
Sobald der Titel zu Ende gespielt ist, schaltet das
Laufwerk auf Pause und das andere Laufwerk
startet. Dieser Vorgang wird bis zum Ausschalten
des Relay-Betriebs endlos wiederholt. (Zum Aus-
schalten die Taste RELAY erneut drücken.)
4) An jeder Stelle der CD kann mit der Taste
zusätzlich die Wiedergabe von einem zum ande-
ren Laufwerk umgeschaltet werden.
5) Wird bei dem auf Pause stehenden Laufwerk eine
andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder den
Relay-Betrieb mit der Taste RELAY aktivieren.
Hinweis: Wird in dieser Betriebsart die Taste CUE
(25) des wiedergebenden Laufwerks betätigt, wech-
selt die Wiedergabe zum anderen Laufwerk. Wird
an dem auf Pause stehenden Laufwerk die Taste
CUE gedrückt gehalten, erfolgt die Wiedergabe von
diesem Laufwerk so lange, bis die Taste gelöst wird.
B Start des anderen Laufwerks am Ende einer CD
1) Zuerst in beide Laufwerke eine CD einlegen.
Dann erst die Taste RELAY (4) betätigen. Die
LED über der Taste blinkt.
2) Beide Laufwerke mit der Taste CONT./SINGLE
(6) auf Gesamttitelwiedergabe schalten – „CON-
TINUE" (d) muss in beiden Displays angezeigt
werden.
5.3.2 Total title replay
For continuous replay of one title after the other,
switch to total title replay with the button CONT./
SINGLE (6). The display switches from "AUTO CUE
SINGLE" (f) to "CONTINUE" (d). To return to single
title replay, actuate the button CONT./SINGLE once
again.
5.3.3 Relay mode – automatic start of the other
player mechanism
At the end of a title or of a CD, the other player
mechanism can be started automatically.
A Start of the other player mechanism at the end of a
title
1) Insert a CD into both player mechanisms first
before actuating the button RELAY (4). The LED
above the button starts flashing.
2) Set both player mechanisms to single title replay
with the button CONT./SINGLE (6) – both dis-
plays must indicate "AUTO CUE SINGLE" (f).
3) Start the replay on one of the player mechanisms
with the button
(26). The other player mecha-
nism must be set to pause (display
as the title has been played to the end, the player
mechanism is set to pause and the other player
mechanism starts. This procedure is contin-
uously repeated until the relay mode is deactivat-
ed. (To switch off the mode, actuate the button
RELAY once again.)
4) On any spot of the CD, the replay can additionally
be switched from one player mechanism to the
other one with the button
.
5) If another CD is inserted in the player mechanism
set to pause, activate the relay mode with the
button RELAY once again.
Note: If the button CUE (25) of the replaying player
mechanism is actuated in this operating mode, the
replay changes to the other player mechanism. If the
button CUE is kept pressed at the player mecha-
nism set to pause, the replay from this player
mechanism continues until the button is released.
3) Ein Laufwerk auf Stopp schalten: Die Taste TIME/
STOP (5) so lange gedrückt halten, bis im Dis-
play das Pausensymbol
4) Die Wiedergabe auf dem anderen Laufwerk mit
der Taste
(26) starten. Am Ende der CD startet
das andere Laufwerk. Der Vorgang wiederholt sich
bis zum Ausschalten des Relay-Betriebs. (Zum
Ausschalten die Taste RELAY erneut drücken.)
5) Wird bei dem auf Stopp stehenden Laufwerk eine
andere CD eingelegt, anschließend wieder den
Relay-Betrieb mit der Taste RELAY aktivieren
und das Laufwerk mit der Taste TIME/STOP auf
Stopp schalten.
5.4 Anspielen eines Titels
).
1) Nach dem Einlegen einer CD zuerst auf den ge-
wünschten Titel springen [mit der Taste
und ggf. der Taste +10 (27)].
2) Erscheint im Display die Laufzeit (k) des Titels,
die Taste CUE (25) gedrückt halten. Der Titel wird
so lange angespielt, wie die Taste gedrückt wird.
3) Nach dem Loslassen der Taste CUE springt das
Gerät auf den Titelanfang zurück und schaltet auf
Pause. Zum Starten des Titels die Taste
drücken. Auf den Titelanfang kann weiterhin mit
der Taste CUE zurückgesprungen werden.
5.5 Funktion OUTRO
Die Funktion OUTRO dient zum Abspielen der je-
weils letzten 30 Sekunden der folgenden Titel.
1) Zum Einschalten der Funktion die Taste CONT./
SINGLE (6) ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, bis
im Display „OUTRO" (l) angezeigt wird.
2) Auf den gewünschten Titel springen [mit der Taste
oder
und ggf. der Taste +10 (27)]. Die Wie-
dergabe mit der Taste
ten 30 Sekunden des Titels werden abgespielt.
3) Zum Ausschalten der Funktion OUTRO entweder
die Taste CONT./SINGLE erneut ca. 3 Sekunden
gedrückt halten, bis im Display „OUTRO" erlischt
oder die Taste TIME/STOP (5) kurz betätigen.
B Start of the other player mechanism at the end of
a CD
1) Insert a CD into both player mechanisms first

Hinweise

Titel bis zum Anfang oder Ende der CD. Wird

Rücklauf der Titelanfang, schaltet das Gerät auf
Pause.
b Im Pausenmodus wird nach einem Vor- oder
Rücklauf die momentane Stelle ständig wieder-
holt, bis die Wiedergabe mit der Taste
gestartet oder die Taste CUE (25) zweimal kurz
angetippt wird.
5.7 Genaues Anfahren einer bestimmten
Stelle
Zum exakten Anfahren einer gewünschten Stelle bei
eingeschalteter Pause das Drehrad FWD/REV (22)
drehen. Auf der CD wird so lange und so schnell vor-
oder zurückgefahren, wie das Rad gedreht wird.
Dabei kann auf dem Display in der Zeitanzeige (k)
die genaue Position abgelesen und in Schritten von
1 Frame (F) angefahren werden (1 Frame =
kunde). Nach dem Drehen wird die momentane
Stelle so lange wiederholt, bis die Taste
gedrückt oder die Taste CUE (25) kurz zweimal
angetippt wird.
Bei laufender CD können durch Vor- und Zurück-
drehen des Drehrads „Leier"-Effekte erzeugt werden.
5.8 Geschwindigkeit mit oder ohne Ton-
höhenverschiebung verändern
Die Geschwindigkeit und damit gleichzeitig die
Anzahl der Taktschläge pro Minute lassen sich mit
dem Schieberegler PITCH CONTROL (30) um max.
±100 % ändern:
+100 % = doppelte Geschwindigkeit
-100 % = Stillstand

5.6 Fast forward and reverse

Notes:
a Fast forward and reverse also go beyond several
titles to the beginning or the end of the CD. How-
ever, during single title replay, the unit is set to
pause if the next title is reached with fast forward
or if the beginning of the title is reached with
reverse.
b In the pause mode, the current spot is constantly
repeated after fast forward or reverse until the
replay is started with the button

5.7 Precise selection of a certain spot
To precisely select a desired spot with activated
pause, turn the rotary wheel FWD/REV (22). The
unit advances and reverses so long and so fast on
the CD as the wheel is turned. During this process,
it is possible to read the precise position on the time
display (k) and to select it in steps of 1 frame (F)
[1 frame =
