5.2.3 Printing the Communication Protocol

c) Make sure that there is paper in the ASFand then press
START: the data shown in fig. 5-1 will be printed and then
the facsimile machine will return to standby mode.
The protocol status is presented, session by session, by means of the following fields:
TIMER
Indicates the times, in minutes : seconds, at which the signals were
exchanged during the session
LOCAL
Indicates the signals, represented by a hexadecimal code and a
mnemonic code, sent by the local facsimile machine
REMOTE Indicates the signals sent by the correspondent's facsimile machine
FIF
Indicates the structure of the signals (FIF = Facsimile Information
Field) in hexadecimal code.
