GENERAL INFORMATION
INTRODUCTION
The Am96/4116A MonoBoard Computer (MBC) is a complete, AmZ8002 based,
16-bit, microcomputer on a single board.
It is plug compatible with
the Intel Multibus board product interface.
The Am96/4116A offers the
following features:
High performance, AmZ8002, 16-bit microprocessor.
Supports up to ei ght ki 1obytes of on-board
RO~1.
Two sockets are
provided with jumper selectable addressing for 2K, 4K, or 8K
bytes.
Under software control, addresses for on-boa rd shadow
RO~1
are
mapped to off-board RAM.
Supports up to 32 ki"\ obytes of on-board dynami cRAM.

the
AmZ8000

the
Multibus.

both
are
attempting continuous access, 50% interleave results.

A parallel
I/O interface with two 8-bit ports and two 4-bit
ports socketed for drivers or receivers.

interrupts.
PHYSICAL DESCFIIPTION
The Am96/4116A MonoBoard Computer (MBC) is a four-layer printed circuit
board with MSI TTL and LSI MOS circuits.
Five edge connectors provide
bus and peripheral interface capabilities.
